From the airport

First things first: getting into the city from the airport on public transit. There are a few options for arriving into the city from Pearson International on the bus, so take a look and see where the closest drop off destination is to where you’re going.  The cash fare for the bus is $3, and drivers will not make change for you, so try to have the correct change for them.

If you don’t mind paying a bit extra for getting into town, you have the option of Toronto Airport Express Service. One way fares will cost you $21.95, and the bus can drop you at various locations downtown.

Finally you have the option of taking a taxi, which is likely the most expensive option (unless of course you decide to splash out on a limo, in that case, you’re on your own for budgeting). You can hail a cab outside the airport, and depending on where you’re going, a cab will cost you around $50-$60. It’s up to your discretion to tip your driver, and as you will soon find out, tipping in Toronto is HUGE.
